Relief Corporate Security Officer

Armatus is recruiting reliable and experienced Relief Corporate Security Officers to support an established security team working with a prestigious client in Towcester.
You will provide essential cover for planned leave, sickness and additional client requirements, helping us maintain a consistently high standard of security across the site.
This role would suit an experienced security professional looking for flexible shifts within a specialist corporate environment, with opportunities to develop experience supporting the Formula 1 operation conducted on site.

Pay and working pattern
- £14.25 per hour.
- Accrued holiday pay.
- 12-hour shifts.
- Day shifts: 07:00-19:00.
- Night shifts: 19:00-07:00.
- Relief hours covering annual leave, sickness and additional client requirements.
- Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends will be required.
The role
As a Relief Corporate Security Officer, you will:
- Provide reliable shift cover as required
- Conduct regular internal and external patrols
- Monitor CCTV, alarms and other security systems
- Manage access control for people, vehicles and deliveries
- Check identification, passes and relevant documentation
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies and alarms
- Maintain a visible and reassuring security presence
- Identify and report suspicious activity, hazards and potential risks
- Complete accurate incident reports, logs and shift handovers
- Follow site procedures, assignment instructions and client requirements
- Liaise with the permanent site team, client representatives and emergency services
- Provide excellent customer service to employees, contractors and visitors
About you
You will need:
- Previous experience in a corporate security environment
- A valid SIA licence
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport
- The flexibility to cover day, night and weekend shifts, sometimes at short notice
- A dependable and proactive approach
- Excellent communication, observation and customer service skills
- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Confidence using CCTV, access-control systems and basic IT applications
- The physical ability to conduct patrols and remain standing for extended periods
- A professional appearance and approach
